My most expensive cosplay up until now, it's also my favourite!

It was also the most challenging costume to make up until now, it had a lot of sewing @.@
Most of it was done by Tenshi with me cutting out the pieces and helping with the drawing, and carefully watching and learning.

It was also the first time I have singlehandedly sewn a waistcoat using the knowledge from observing Tenshi.
At the time, I was proud of my creation, but really, it was crap :')

Afterwards, I went on and started making the .454 Casull and The Jackal. The Casull ended up looking weird, and out of proportion, but I didn't have time or money to make a new one, so I ended up using this one.

An overview of the elements of this costume. It's hot under all these layers :'D

All packed up and ready to go to Chibicon!

Walking as the fuck-mothering vampire really gives you a feeling of power and supremacy.
This is a costume that I most definetly want to wear again at a later date.
And it was followed up with my first ever studio photoshoot at gucaguru.com

And now the hat hate.
As I already said, I hate making hats. Even though I only made two, those two were a pain in the ass. V's hat was made out of plasticard 10 hours before the event, and was time consuming since I didn't even have enough material to cover it up, and it was falling apart.
And as for Alucard's hat, well, I postponed making it until the night before the photoshoot because of my experiences with the previous one. It had a giant piece of Sintra inside of it, which prevented me from being able to sew the material around it.
And I also, with joy may I add, destroyed the previous one to take the plasticard base out of it and transplant it into the new one.
This was followed with an unexplainable event with the sewing machine, since for some reason, I COULDN'T GET MYSELF TO SEW THE THING RIGHT.
I don't know what happened, or how it happened, but I just couldn't get myself to sew the right the right way.
It either flipped out and got cought on the thread, or the machine went ahead and tangled up the thread below the material effectively ripping it apart.
All in all, I am really satisfied with this cosplay and I'm looking forward to making more costumes like this! ^^
