After hours of painful cutting, sewing, painting, curing and testing, I have finished this costume in 3 days which, for me, is an achievement.
I have started the project with Tenshi, however, she had some obligations and had to set priorities on some other things, so I was left to finish it alone, which, at the time, seemed like something I couldn't do, since I always had some sort of help, be it overseeing my work or literally helping me, I still had it.
Once the main vest was done, I went ahead to make the base for the belt, without the pouches.

Afterwards, I made a few EVA layers as a base for the chestplate, and stacked them on top of the EVA base layer to form something like this.

Then finished the belt, adding the pouches and a clip to hold the thing together, waiting for the little shield being made by Tenshi.

It was followed with the gauntlets, also made out of EVA. I simply put on some cheap gloves and hot glued the parts directly to my fingers. It hurt as hell, but the outcome is really nice, and it got glued pretty good. Even tho I still have burn marks on my hands, I would recommend using this technique if you're ready to whisper "pain is just an emotion, this doesn't really hurt" to yourself repeatedly while you watch your flesh burn in front of your eyes.
But hey, it's for cosplay? :'D

I cured them using wood glue and water, with a few coats, which took about 10 minutes to dry each, unless it was on a big surface, those took a lot more, perhaps even 40 minutes.

Best use of suspenders.

Trying them on.

Added a collar to the jacket.

Then I cured and painted the chestplate.

And the first time trying the whole thing on!

The costume still needs to be pimped, by weathering the armor colors, and fixing some issues I had with wearing it, however, I'm quite happy with how this turned out!

Another blog with the aftermath, impressions and the con I was attending will eventually come along with some pictures from a photoshoot!
